The slight plastic smell is normal for new PVC bags and should fade after a few days once it's had a chance to air out.

I was sent the wrong color by accident but the color I got was so cute too. Love this bag def getting another one it fits so many things and easy to take scuff marks off with rubbing alc. I am in love with the jelly material and lock which is so cute. Customer service was nice although the whole shipping process took a while, it was worth the wait.
